The external tools menu provides functionality for creating, running and editing external tools.

New - opens the New External tool dialog where you can create external tools

This dialog has the following options

• Name - the name of the external tool
• Command - the command that will be run when this tool is launched
• Parameters - the parameters for the command
• Select start folder - the folder where this tool will be started
• Show console window on start - selects if the tool should be launched in a console or not

Edit - edits the selected tool

Delete - deletes the selected tool
